Wordsmithery is simple and great fun for kids, teenagers, and adults alike. Every turn you will be asked to guess the meaning of a word. You are given three options of what it might. Guess correctly and you will score points. Get it wrong, and you’ll fall behind your opponents. First to ten wins – it’s as simple as that. All 700 words are exactly the kind of words that you pretend to understand… when you don’t. Do you know what ‘egregious’ means? ‘Phalanx’? ‘Salubrious’? You’ve probably heard them before, and maybe you can guess them. Don’t worry, you get three possible (and often amusing) definitions to choose from. Do you and your friends fancy yourself quite eloquent, and fancy more of a challenge? Try it without the multiple choice element for a trickier challenge!
